Eric is a veteran business professional with over thirty years of leadership experience. His professional background includes leading business process design and implementation, transformations and change, project management, strategic planning, and implementation, solving mission-critical and complex business problems, financial analysis and decision making, and team building. He is well known as the "turn-around guy." He has held several leadership roles with Fortune 500 companies, privately held companies, and public sector organizations.
As an adjunct faculty member at Colorado Technical University, Eric inspires future business and project leaders to create a culture of leadership, innovative thinking, and integrity. Teaching adult learners, he focuses on developing skilled, knowledgeable leaders. He has the hands-on experience to effectively lead people, teams, and organizations to achieve strategic goals and deliver projects that meet stakeholders' expectations.
His doctorate dissertation focuses on virtual team strategies and leadership, which he will defend in fall 2022. He combines his life-long passions of doing the right things (right tasks, processes, and change), leadership, and problem-solving to contribute new knowledge to enhance virtual team strategies and effectiveness. Eric's other areas of interest and experience include business continuity, business communications, project transformations, and developing and mentoring future leaders.
Eric's professional experience includes improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiencies by managing business transformations, including complex contract negotiations, project implementation, project risk management, aligning teams and processes with organizational strategic objectives, and continuous process improvements. Examples of Eric's results are achieving 70% improvement of technology deployment times, operational savings of $3M, improving call center handling times by 40%, call quality scores by 60%, and reducing employee attrition rate from over 30% to less than 4% which helps drive overall customer satisfaction scores.
